In 2002, Volunteers of America Chesapeake’s Pratt House was transformed from a dilapidated Baltimore City school into a vibrant, affordable housing community for homeless families with two or more children.

Pratt House offers two and three bedroom apartment homes.  Pratt is a 35 apartment transitional housing community—complete with an outdoor playground, activities room and learning center.  Residents receive Support services including case management, mental health screening and referrals to health care, substance abuse treatment, adult education and job training as needed.
